About us
Skylish was founded in 2018 with a vision to curate handmade dog treats for pet parent who prioritise the health and well-being of their dogs. Our mission is to ensure easy access to natural, healthy, and certified products for dogs across India.
We are honoured to have been selected for the Business Incubation Cohort '22 at the Indian School of Business (ISB), supported by the NIDHI Seed Support Initiative from the Government of India. Additionally, we received recognition as a winner in the Leadership Category at the Digital Women Awards by SheThePeople TV, supported by Google India, Axis Bank, and Colors TV, held in Gurgaon.
Journey Timeline: First Two Years (FY19 & FY20):
- Skylish launched its operations, starting with detailed need analysis and product trials.
- Conducted shelf stability tests and established an initial product line.
Next Two Years (FY21 & FY22):
- Built and set up an independent production facility.
- Developed operations and production resources, including full compliance with FSSAI and GST regulations.
- Completed food testing and received certifications to ensure product quality and safety.
Last Two Years (FY23 & FY24):
- Participated in BIC 2022 by DLABS at ISB and received seed funding from the Government of India.
- Transitioned into a Private Limited Company and recognised as a startup by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
- Received the Leadership Award at the Digital Women Awards by SheThePeopleTV & Google India.
- Transitioned our business operations to the Shopify platform and registered trademarks and barcodes.
- We launched fresh meals for dogs, expanding our product range.
